…for 29W subwoofer if that is correct what it says in the manual that the bass can reach 30Hz than that is good bass response and good build box. I dont know how much is the price on both product so it is up to you to decide would you buy the X23. You will definitely here some improvements of the sound (as the specifications say) most of them will be more loudness. And if the sub really go to 30Hz you will have bass improvements too (not too much but a bit more than the X-530). Else is up to Y

@bublik25 As I can see the X23 is not bad system, you will definitely get more loudness because the satellites are double the power than X-530. The X-530 have 7.4 W per channel and the X23 have 14W per channel so more loudness definitely. The bass is only 4W powerful than X-530 but it is not for underestimation if you know what 25W Logitech sub can do, so those 4W can mean allot if used in correct box. But the bass frequency response is way batter than X-530 it is 30Hz which is pretty low for…

… because they have twitter that is missing for the high tones in the X-530 (fixed with EQ), and X-530 have better subwoofer because can go lower in frequency what means more bass. And everything else is the same they kept the cable connections the same, even the bass controller is on the back like the X-530. The plus thing that Z-506 have is connections on the back of the subwoofer for input. But maybe the quality of Z-506 is better because X-series are budget series. That is my opinion

@bublik25 You can compare them on the official Logitech web site. But they are pretty much the same. The main difference is that Z-506 uses 3D sound technology and X-530 have FDD2 technology on the 5 satellite speakers. It is overall 5W stronger than X-530. Z-506 have 27W and X-530 have 25W sub, but the lowest frequency that Z-506 can produce is 45HZ and X-530 can do 40Hz (and by my experience even lower). The satellites are bit louder too. In my opinion Z-506 may have better satellites because.

i love logitech but …
i love logitech but unfortunatly logitech makes nothing that competes with my klipsch promedia 2.1, the z5500 comes close but the quality with the promedia is unmached by anything LOGITECH makes. mabe some day they will make a high end highfi system.
