Surround Sound Electronics

This is a review of the Logitech Z323 2.1 speaker system. They cost me £35 from Comet and they are amazing, especially for such a cheap price!
They have 3 inputs: RCA, a built in 3.5mm stereo cable and an AUX input port.

The satellites are really crisp and clear and the sub woofer is rich and ‘warm’.

If anyone is looking for a cheap speaker system for Macs, PCs, Laptops, iPods etc then I would definitely recommend these.

105 Watts nominal usage for each KX12

It was my understanding that the Technics SA-500 only put out 55 Watts per channel at around 8 Ohms… I think that is wrong, considering I can have all four of these DCM Loudspeakers on at the same time…. and warm up the speakers enough to where they are at their nominal usage! But of course when I do that, the Technics SA-500 gets VERY HOT!!!!!! … I have to have a computer fan on the top taking out the hot air… So I think the SA-500 can do a lot more than advertised!!!!!

Logitech sent me a new system after the previous one broke when one of my friends borrowed it, absolutely great company. I’ve redone the unboxing in 1080p with my new Canon HFS10 camera – unboxing of that coming soon too!

Got a chance over the weekend to put up my acoustic panels, and run the audio wiring through the attic and place wall plates at all the speaker locations. I was also able to relocate the components to the front of the room so i could move the seating back about 2-3′ to the very back of the room for better viewing. Looking at turning this into a 7.1, as im thinking about going with rocket RS850’s for the fronts, if they aren’t too tall.

Still gottafind stands for the surrounds, as they’re on my ghetto-fab av123 boxes that my fronts came in

Why does a 5.1 speaker setup have to be durable? it just does. and this one failed the test

So ya, today I smash a 5.1 home theater sound system with the crazy power handling of 18 watts per satellite speaker and a thumping 25 watt subwoofer

Very sorry about the bad camera handling, my camera man was away and i had to go solo =P
