This "re-launch" puts the power supply in an outboard chassis for maximum noise rejection and more real estate to accommodate the exclusive film capacitor bank, larger choke, dual toroidal transformers for the 2A3 filaments, and copper shielding. The amplifier features an updated driver stage with a 6SL7 operating in SRPP mode (shunt regulated push-pull) which cleanly drives the 2A3 throughout Class A operation. All of this results in a dead quiet background and a more transparent and lively presentation of the audio signal!
